University of St. Thomas: Center for Student Achievement

Role: Project Manager, Information Architect

History: In the spring of 2017 a variety of groups and divisions were brought together to plan a way to help students achieve success throughout their time at St. Thomas. 


This initiative was brought forth to solve a common problem many new, and even returning students had:

  • "where to go to find ______"

  • "how do I _____"

  • "What forms do I fill out for _____

  • "What clubs or activities are available if I am interested in _____"  

Project Deliverables:

  • A website that would provide a hub for ongoing student success

  • Graphics for the new website

Goals: 

Create a website that would:​

  • Easily navigate students to resources they might need related to: academics, living on campus, graduation, and campus activities

  • Feature stories of current students that would relate to users of the website

  • Combine content currently hosted on multiple other sites and pages of the St. Thomas structure, and begin migrating content to one site structure
